UPHOLSTERY FABRIC COMMISSION
January-March 2023recreated a vintage fabric for upholstery use on an airmchair in client’s Airbnb (The Prowhouse), featured in Maine Magazine.
with a small sample of the original fabric, I identified each yarn in terms of fiber makeup and size, then determined the weave structure and pattern. After color matching and sourcing the yarns locally in the New England area, I hand-wove 8 yards on a Macomber floor loom.
